RVT Pet Care, provides in home hospice care following the
American Veterinary Medical Association's Guidelines for Hospice Care,
Updated March 2007. All services are conducted by a Registered Vet Tech.

Veterinary hospice gives clients time to make decisions regarding a terminal
companion animal and to prepare for the pending death of the animal. The
comfort of the animal must always be considered when veterinary hospice
care is provided. The veterinary hospice team consists of the veterinarian and
trained staff who provide expertise in palliative care and pain control for such
terminally ill animals. assisting in the respectful closure of each unique
human-animal bond
."

or prognosis, prescribe any treatments, drugs, medications, or appliances, perform
surgery or administer Rabies vaccines.
A "Registered Veterinary Technician" as set forth by the General
Provisions for Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians of the State of
Georgia
is "a person who engages in the practice of veterinary technology
and on the basis of his or her qualifications is validly and currently registered
by the board for such purpose.

Veterinary Technology means the science and art of providing certain
aspects of professional medical care and treatment for animals and the
practice of veterinary medicine as may be delegated and supervised by a
licensed veterinarian and performed by a person who is not a licensed
veterinarian."

learning how to do fluids yourself we can do them for you! Insist on a
skilled professional!

We can teach you how or do it for you!

****We can collect certain samples for your veterinarian saving trips to the

***We can start Veterinary Medical Assistance AS DIRECTED your
VETERINARIAN after hours and in emergency situations.
